Коррозионное растрескивание под напряжением
Совместное действие на металл коррозионной среды и механических нагрузок. В этом случае разрушение металла происходит в виде трещин. Механические напряжения, способствующие образованию коррозионных трещин, могут возникать по разным причинам: при растяжении или сжатии деталей внешними (приложенными извне) нагрузками, вследствие проявления их внутренних напряжений, возникающих под действием термической обработки металла или в процессе электроосаждения в гальванических покрытиях как следствие процесса электрокристаллизации металла.
