 Зависимость свойств системы от направления изменений внешних условий. Наблюдается в тех случаях, когда состояние тела определяется внешними условиями не только в данный момент времени, но и в предшествующие моменты. Данное явление свойственно ферроэлектрическим материалам и приводит к невосполнимым потерям энергии через рассеивание тепла
